Meet Our Belchertown Team

Tad - Hospital Manager

Tad joined our team in March 2023. He comes to us with 20 years of veterinary medical and leadership experience. A native of Savannah, Georgia, Tad has spent his entire life passionately caring for animals and speaking for the voiceless. Tad moved to our area in 2021 with his spouse of 11 years and three cats; Biskit, Betty, and Winifred Sanderson. When not leading our team Tad can generally be found exploring the natural wonders (and craft breweries) New England has to offer.

Kirstin - Medical Director & Veterinary Technician

Meet Kirstin! Kirstin has been with our hospital since 2012! She is both an experienced veterinary technician and veterinary office manager. Kirstin is a jack of all trades and skilled in all aspects of veterinary care. Kirstin a proud military wife and mother, and  owner of two Biewers (Forrest & Joey), and a German Shepherd (Orson). 

Ally - Lead Veterinary Technician

Ally joined our team in 2023 and brings 6 years of veterinary experience to our practice. Ally has worked in a wide variety of small animal environments including wellness, emergency, shelter, and surgery! She is excited to expand her already extensive knowledge to exotic and pocket pets. Ally was born and raised in Springfield, MA before attending college near Washington D.C. After college Ally lived in northern Virginia for a few years before eventually migrating back to Western Massachusetts. In her spare time Ally stays very busy keeping her two pittie mixes and human child busy. Ally also loves to go on adventures both near and far! We look forward to helping her grow within the veterinary field and prepare for whatever the future brings!!


Sue- Receptionist

Meet Sue! Sue joined our team in 2016. She previously worked in the human medical field but her love of animals drew her to work in the veterinary field. She is a Native Vermonter who now lives in Belchertown with her husband, three dogs, three cats, a chinchilla and several chickens. Susan's favorite animals are the down-trodden ones no one else wants. Her dream is to win the lottery and open a huge rescue! Besides her animals Susan loves to garden and restore furniture into pieces of art.

Niki- Receptionist

Meet Niki! Niki joined our team in April 2022. She comes to us as an experienced veterinary front office coordinator with a background in both large and small animal care. After years spent working with horses in a variety of positions she decided to focus on her love of veterinary medicine starting with emergency and moving into general practice. When not working Niki enjoys caring for her 4 horses, 2 dogs, 3 cats, and a spunky kitten; she also has a flock of registered Shetland Sheep that she breeds and shows. 


Jake - Receptionist

Meet Jake! Jake joined our team in 2022. He brings with him valuable experience as a customer advising supervisor for a large 24-hour veterinary emergency hospital in Texas. Jake is a lover of all animals, especially exotics and extra large dog breeds. He is also passionate about the arts. He enjoys reading, writing, and musical performance. He looks forward to meeting you and your pets. 

Danielle "Dani" - Veterinary Assistant

Meet Dani! Dani joined our team as an experienced veterinary assistant in 2022, and has a bachelors in Animal Science from the University of Massachusetts. She is excited about learning hands on and developing her skills to become an outstanding veterinary technician. Dani enjoys traveling  with her significant other, and relaxing with her friends and family. She is the proud owner of two papillions Finey and Piper.
